I’m Mar Alvarez, founder and lead photographer of Panorama Pictures, based in Puerto Vallarta and documenting celebrations across Mexico and Latin America.

I believe the best photographs are created long before the shutter is pressed. They begin with trust. That’s why I take the time to truly get to know every couple. I want to understand who you are, what matters most to you, and the people who have shaped your story. The more connected we become, the more honest your photographs will feel.

On a wedding day, I’m often just a shadow. Sometimes close, sometimes far away, always watching. I move quietly through the day, anticipating moments rather than directing them, allowing emotions to unfold naturally while making sure nothing meaningful goes unnoticed.

I also believe great wedding photography is never created alone. I work closely with planners, coordinators, filmmakers, and every creative involved so the day flows effortlessly and you can stay fully present with the people you love.

Whether we’re documenting an intimate celebration by the ocean or a destination wedding surrounded by family and friends, my goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel timeless, personal, and unmistakably yours.
