1. About Panorama Pictures

Panorama Pictures is a bespoke photography studio operated by Margarita Álvarez Ramírez, known professionally as Mar Alvarez, a sole practitioner based in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. By submitting a booking inquiry or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Booking & Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total session fee is required to confirm your booking date. No date is reserved until the deposit has been received and confirmed in writing.

The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before your session. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking, with the deposit forfeited.

For weddings and multi-hour events, booking at least 6 months in advance is strongly recommended.

3. Payment

All prices are listed and invoiced in Mexican pesos (MXN). Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time of booking. The price quoted at the time of booking will be honored regardless of any subsequent changes.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellations more than 30 days before the session: deposit is forfeited, no further payment is due.
• Cancellations within 30 days of the session: 50% of the total session fee is due.
• Rescheduling requested more than 7 days in advance: accommodated at no additional charge, subject to availability.
• Rescheduling within 7 days of the session: may incur a scheduling fee.

5. Delivery Timeline

• Portrait sessions: edited gallery delivered within 2 to 3 weeks of the session date.
• Wedding coverage: edited gallery delivered within 4 to 6 weeks of the event date.

Galleries are delivered via a private online link. Rush delivery may be available upon request and may be subject to an additional fee.

6. Copyright & Usage Rights

All photographs produced by Panorama Pictures remain the intellectual property of Margarita Álvarez Ramírez, protected under Mexican copyright law (Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor) and applicable international conventions.

Upon full payment, clients receive a personal, non-commercial license to use, display, and share their photographs for personal purposes. Commercial use requires a separate written agreement.

7. Portfolio & Promotional Use

Mar Alvarez reserves the right to feature selected images in her professional portfolio, website, and social media. Clients who prefer confidentiality must submit a written request before the session date.

8. Client Responsibilities

• Clients are responsible for arriving on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session without fee reduction.
• Clients are responsible for obtaining any location permits required.
• Weather contingency plans should be discussed with Mar at the time of booking.

9. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances

Panorama Pictures reserves the right to reschedule sessions in the event of severe weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. A full reschedule will be offered at no additional cost.

10. Limitation of Liability

Panorama Pictures is not liable for loss or damage to personal property during sessions. In the event of equipment failure or data loss, liability is limited to a full refund of all payments made.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Jalisco, Mexico. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith mediation before any legal proceedings are initiated.
